Stele of Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu (or the “Stele of Revealing”)
The Stele of Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu is anancient Egyptian funerary tablet. It was made for a priest of Montu (an Egyptian falcon-god of war) named Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu i. The priest is painted on the tablet as giving offerings to the falcon-headed Egyptian deity Re-Harakhty (“Re-Horus of the Two Horizons”), who is a synchronistic form of the gods Ra and Horus.
On the painted wooden stele is depicted the sky goddess Nut. Beneath Nut is Behdety seen - the winged solar disk that is a symbol of royalty and divinity.
